PLAY TIME: Georgia Ward, four, enjoys a spot of drawing at Cockerton Play Group
YOUNGSTERS at a Darlington play school are settling into their new surroundings after the group switched locations for the first time in 45 years.
Cockerton Play Group is now based at St Mary’s Community Hall, in Newton Lane.
The group, which runs from 9.15am to 11.15am on Tuesday to Friday, was previously based at Cockerton Methodist Church Hall.
Play leader Sharron (correct) Thompson said the new location was better for the children, as it is all on one level and has outdoor space for the youngsters to play in.
