A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder by police investigating a death in Middlesbrough.
Officers were called to a house at Carlow Street in the Gresham area of the town at 3.45am on Saturday, where the body of a man was discovered.
A post mortem examination took place yesterday and confirmed that the man died as a result of a stab wound.
A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder and will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said officers are carrying out extra patrols in the local area in order to reassure the local community.
