A WOMAN who stole socks and washing tablets will return to court for sentencing.
Catherine Dillon stole £15.98 worth of socks from Semichem, and two bottles of Ariel washing gel and a box of Bold washing tablets worth £21.16 from Tesco, in Darlington.
At a hearing at Darlington Maigstrates’ Court today (Thursday, January 23) the 42-year-old, of Gladstone Street, Darlington, admitted two charges of theft, failing to surrender to police bail and failing to answer court bail.
The case was adjourned to allow the Probation Service to prepare a pre-sentence report on Dillon.
She was granted unconditional bail and will return to court on Thursday, February 6 for sentencing.
