PHOTO MEETING: Durham Photographic Society’s next meeting on Thursday, January 30, will include entertainment from the society’s own assignment group. Meetings are in St Oswald’s Church Institute, Church Street, Durham, at 7.30pm.
STAR GAZING: The next meeting of Durham Astronomical Society will be held in Redwood Lodge, School Lane, off Church Street, Durham, on Friday, January 24, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm. A number of members will give talks on astronomy. All are welcome. There will be a small charge for non-members.
