20 vehicles gutted in Grangetown scrapyard blaze

A blaze involving 20 cars broke out in a scrapyard in Grangetown, Middlesbrough, last (Monday, January 20) night.

Four crews from Grangetown, Marine and Redcar were called to the yard in Old Station Road at 8.40pm and were at the scene until 10.36pm.

The scrapped cars were all severely damaged.
