SCHOOLCHILDREN are being given the chance to win tickets to one of the region’s biggest pop concerts for all their classmates.

Primary schools across the region are being asked to design a souvenir programme for the North East Live show at the Stadium of Light, in Sunderland on June 22 featuring the likes of Jessie J, The Saturdays, The Vamps and Union J.

Participating schools will be sent a pack containing a pack of images, logos and biographies of all the artists performing at the event.

The winners will receive free tickets for the full class and accompanying adults, as well as copies of the winning programme.

SAFC commercial director Gary Hutchinson said: "We’re encouraging children to be as creative and original as they want and really get into the spirit of North East Live.

"It’s a fun, family-friendly event for the whole region and we want to involve as many people as possible in the show and the build up to the day."
