LIVE MUSIC: The Friends of St Cuthbert’s Church will host a fundraising jam session, featuring music by saxophonist Bill Goyder, at Dalkeith House, in Tees Grange Avenue, Darlington, on Saturday, January 18, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. Tickets are £5, available on the door or from committee members. The event will also include cakes and a jam and preserves stall. Proceeds will go to support the church.
HEALTH ADVICE: A free ten-week course about healthy living, aimed at families, will start on Thursday, January 16, at the Coleridge Centre, in Darlington, between 9.30am and 11.30am. Places must be booked in advance by calling 01325-248021.
FRIENDS MEET: The Darlington Friends will host a free coffee morning, open to all, at the Friends Meeting House, in Skinnergate, on Thursday, January 16, between 10.30am and 11.30am.
LINE DANCING: Age UK Darlington holds a line dancing class at its headquarters in Bradbury House, in Beaumont Street, Darlington, on Thursday, January 16, between 1pm and 3pm. There is a small charge to take part.
