A FLAGSHIP current affairs programme is to be broadcast from one of the region’s theatres next week.

BBC One’s Question Time is set to be screened from the Gala Theatre in Durham on Thursday, January 16.

Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu will be among the guests joining regular host David Dimbleby, with the rest of the panel expected to be announced the day before broadcast.

Audience members must apply to be on the programme through the BBC’s website www.bbc.co.uk with questions to put to the panel.

The show was last filmed at the Gala Theatre in 2005, when it featured former Conservative leader and MP for Richmond, William Hague among its guests.

The programme will be broadcast on BBC One at 10.35pm.
