MONEY BAGS: Darlington International Badminton Club has raised £1,471 to go towards its forthcoming tours in Europe.
The club held a bag packing session at Sainsbury’s on Victoria Road and wished to thank shoppers and staff who donated so generously.
The money will help the club play against teams in Darlington’s twin towns of Mulheim and Amiens this year.
PACT MEETING: A Police and Communities Together meeting for Harrowgate Hill residents takes place on Wednesday (January 15).
It will run from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Harrowgate Hill Club, Salters Lane North
