Voluntary countryside ranger Dara Dastur leads a guided walk, Vive le Quebec, covering seven miles of mid-Durham countryside tomorrow (Thursday January 9).
Anyone interested in taking part in what is described as a ‘medium’ difficulty trek, should meet in the park opposite the Hamsteels Inn, in Front Street, Quebec Village, near Langley Park, west of Durham, at 10.30am.
There is a £4 charge for adults.
SOCIAL DANCE: A Social Dance takes place at the Indoor Bowling Club, off Abbey Road, Pity Me, near Durham, on Saturday (January 11), from 8 - 11pm. There is a £2.50 charge payable at the door, on the night. Further details are available from ‘Michael’, on 0191-386-6921.
