A WEATHER presenter will be forecasting her own wedding plans at the North-East’s biggest show for brides.

BBC TV star Hannah Bayman, who is set to marry fiance Charlie Tahir in June, will be appearing at The North East Wedding Show at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on January 25-26.

The presenter, who comes from Heddon on the Wall, met her husband-to-be in February and he proposed just seven months later on the Northumberland coast.

She said: "I should have guessed something was up when Charlie arrived to pick me up for a day at the coast with a huge bouquet of flowers, champagne, ice cream and white chocolate.

"After a fantastic day out in Amble and Craster he proposed and I was lost for words and dazzled by the diamond ring.

"He just kept talking and I just kept gaping at him. Finally he asked if everything was OK and I realised I had forgotten to say yes."

The happy couple will be sharing their plans for their big day at the Wedding Show on Saturday, January 25 at 1pm, when they will be interviewed by bridal coach Michele Paradise.

The show will feature hundreds of wedding experts from across the region as well as regular fashion shows and the chance to win their wedding at Doxford Hall Hotel and Spa.

Tickets booked before midnight on January 24 cost £7 or admission is £9 on the door. For more information, visit www.theukweddingshows.co.uk.
