SPEED CHECKS: One motorist was caught exceeding the 30mph limit through Low Etherley during a police Speedwatch operation. In all, the speed of 42 vehicles was checked during the operation. A warning letter will be sent to the offending driver.
PACT MEETING: Residents in Barnard castle are welcome to have their say on crime issues at a Pact meeting which takes place at The Witham, on Wednesday, January 9. The meeting starts at 7pm.
