FAMILIES are invited to a fun day aiming to promote the health benefits of active travel.
The Pioneering Care Partnership, in Newton Aycliffe, and Local Motion are hosting the event at Woodham Community Centre on Saturday, January 11, from 10am and 2pm.
There will be taster sessions in Nordic walking, tips on bike maintenance, free health checks and mini therapy sessions, advice on public transport and information about the facility’s six-week Active Travel clubs, which include walking and cycling.
