POLICE investigating a robbery at a County Durham petrol station have arrested a man.
Two men targeted the Oakley Service Station, in West Auckland, near Bishop Auckland, at about 6am on Friday, November 8.
They ran away from the garage, on Staindrop Road, with a large amount of money. Officers have since arrested a 19-year-old local man who has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Durham Police are still appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111.
