East Coast trains to run on amended timetable due to stormy weather

EAST Coast trains will run on an amended timetable tomorrow due to the forecast of a severe storm.
Speed restrictions have been imposed on part of the route for safety reasons, and travellers are being warned their journeys may take longer than usual.
A statement on the East Coast website said: "Passengers with tickets for any cancelled services are advised to travel on the train immediately before or after their cancelled service.
"Passengers that decide not to travel on Monday 28 October may travel on Tuesday 29 October.
"All ticket restrictions and seat reservations are lifted.
"Passengers may use the following train operators on any reasonable route: East Midlands Trains; CrossCountry; First Capital Connect; Northern Rail; First TransPennine Express; First Hull Trains.
