EACH month, The Northern Echo highlights one of the many dogs looking for a home at the Dogs Trust, in Sadberge, near Darlington.

JADE is an 11-year-old German Shepherd who recently returned to the care of the Dogs Trust Darlington Rehoming Centre.

Jade has been in a loving home for the last eight years, but due to a family bereavement she is now again looking for a new owner.

Rebecca McKeown, from the Dogs Trust Darlington, said: “Jade is a friendly girl who loves her human companions and is content to just snuggle down in your company.

“Jade doesn’t like to be left home alone for long periods so will be looking to live with someone who is around for most of the day.

“Jade would need to be the only pet in the home, and as she doesn’t like to be around other dogs she would prefer to be walked in quiet areas or at quiet times of the day. Jade could live within a family with older teenagers.”

If you could offer Jade, or any of the other animals who need a home, contact the Dogs Trust Darlington Rehoming Centre on 01325-333114 or visit the centre between noon and 4pm each day, except Tuesdays.
