Man charged with murder of York estate agent
A 25-year-old man has tonight been charged with the murder of York estate agent Nicole Selena Waterhouse.
He has also been charged with the attempted murder of her colleague Karen Browne, 23.
He was arrested in the early hours of yesterday (Monday, October 21) following an incident at a flat in Phoenix Boulevard in the Leeman Road area - close to the National Railway Museum - during the evening of Sunday 20 October 2013.
He has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear at York Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning (Wednesday, October 23).
Miss Waterhouse, 32, worked for Hunters estate agents, which has branches across North Yorkshire.
Miss Browne was tonight in a stable condition in York Hospital. Both women suffered multiple serious injuries
