SHOPPERS got more than they bargained for over the weekend when a flash mob of scantily-clad ladies descended on a historic North-East city.

Around 20 women wearing lingerie wowed passers-by on Elvet Bridge in Durham City on Saturday.
The stunt, at Sorella Boutique, was to introduce a new range of knickers called Lingerie by Annette.
Models, burlesque dancers and customers took part to the astonishment of shoppers and customers in the tea room next door.
Designer Annette Keelty, who organised the event alongside Michelle Taylor of Tallulah Love, said: “We paraded girls in knickers on the bridge.
“There were all of these bare bums. I didn’t really think about until I saw people’s faces in the tea shop.
“But everyone seemed quite pleased, though we did have to go take the girls for a hot chocolate afterwards because it was a bit nippy.
“It was not meant to be raunchy. It was just a celebration of underwear and was all in the best possible taste.”
