Traditional craft skills on the agenda at Preston Park Museum

A VARIETY of fun classes have been organised to run throughout November at Preston Park Museum to give a taste of traditional craft making skills.
Working with a variety of materials, from textiles to glass and metal, instructors will teach hands-on skills to help create a range of creative projects through its ParkMade workshops.
The first class takes place on Saturday, November 2 when visitors will be able to try their hand at felt making. The course will run from 10am to 3pm and costs £40 per person.
The following Saturday, people will have the chance to put their craftsmanship skills into practice on the blacksmithing course which will run from 10am to 4pm. Places cost £80 per person.
All classes are suitable for adults, and no experience is necessary. Lunch and all craft materials are included in the cost of each class.
