Arrest made after North Yorkshire bomb hoax drama
DETECTIVES investigating a hoax call that saw armed police put a North Yorkshire town into lock-down have made an arrest.
Officers were called to Knaresborough on Wednesday evening after an anonymous caller made a malicious bomb hoax regarding a pizza take-away on the High Street.
A 21-year-old man from the Leeds area, was arrested by officers from the Major Crime Unit, on Friday afternoon in connection with the incident.
He has been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
