THIRSK Community Care Association is challenging residents to challenge for the title of the best baker in town. Cakes entered into the contest will be on display at Thirsk Town Hall annexe from 11am on November 3, with prizes awarded at 12.15pm. All the cakes will be auctioned to raise money for the association. Entry, costs £2.50 per cake, and £1.50 for under 16s and can be paid on the day.
