Child taken to Middlesbrough hospital by helicopter
AN EIGHT-year-old boy has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after colliding with a car in Hartlepool just before 12.30pm today.
Police and ambulances were called after the accident on Irvine Road, Hartlepool.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to the scene and at about 1pm the child was being transported to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
