AN award- winning professional photographer will pass on the tips of the trade on a new photography course.
Durham City-based Philip Nixon is starting the latest round of his popular digital photography classes later this month.
They will be held in the Community Room at Gilesgate School - now Durham Free School - three evenings a week because of demand.
The classes start at 7pm on Monday September 23 with a session aimed at beginners and those who feel they need a refresher course.
The other two classes, for enthusiasts, will start on Tuesday September 24 at 7pm and on Thursday September 26, also at 7pm.
Mr Nixon said: “This term there will be a balance of theory and practical work covering a wide range of subjects such as people, landscapes, close-up, natural history, architectural and night photography."
