Fun day held at cricket club
A FREE annual family fun day has been held in north Durham and attracted up to 3,000 people.
Shotley Bridge Cricket Club held the August Bank Holiday Monday event with the fun starting at 1pm.
Events include zorb balls, bouncy castles, bungee jumps, slides, rodeo bull riding and live music.
The event was organised by Durham County Councillor Stephen Robinson and Benfieldside, Blackhill, Bridgehill and Shotley Bridge Community Partnership.
Coun Robinson said: “It has been out of this world. So many people have come down and had a really good day.
“The weather has been perfect. We could not have hoped for it to have gone any better.”
