Vintage vehicles on show at Sunderland
TRANSPORT from yesteryear was on display during a dedicated rally in the region today. (Monday August 26)
The 29th Seaburn Historic Vehicle Display was held in Sunderland, featuring nearly 200 vehicles from the last century.
Bus spotter Terry Christie, 48, from East Herrington, said: “I have got photographs of Sunderland Corporation and Tyne and Wear PTE buses from the 50s to the 70s.
“It has been marvelous. It is really hot and there is lots to see and do.
“I have been coming every year since August 1992. It is great.”
The event also featured trade stands, amusements and a free bus service around the local area.
