SEVEN people were injured in a three vehicle collision in North Yorkshire at the weekend.

A silver Peugeot people carrier overturned after it collided with two parked cars, ending up on its side.

The incident happened in Bondgate, Helmsley, at about 3.50pm on Saturday and fire crews were quickly on the scene.

All seven occupants of the people carrier were German and were taken to hospital for treatment, although their injuries were not life-threatening.

The fire crews used their first aid equipment and neck collars and administered oxygen until arrival of ambulance crews.
