Family fun days at new sea-front pods on Roker beach promenade
SEA front visitors are invited to help create a Marine Mystery Masterpiece at a new North-East coastal landmark.
Creative family fun days are being staged at Holey Rock Corner, at Roker Beach, Sunderland, on Bank Holiday Monday, and on Tuesday (AUG 26 and 27).
They will include the creation of the new marine masterpiece art work, overseen by local artist Ian Potts, on a paved area near the recently installed RokerPods dome structures, on the lower promenade, throughout both days.
Storytelling sessions will also be staged for younger visitors as part of 45-minute long shows, starting at 10 and 11am, plus 12.30, 2 and 3pm, on Tuesday (August 27).
