A BEER from Orkney in Scotland makes the long journey south to appear for the first time at a real ale festival in Teesdale this weekend.
Raven Ale is among 20 beers lined up for this year's festival at the Langdon Beck Hotel in Forest-in-Teesdale.
Another newcomer is Boon Doggle from the Ringwood Brewery in Hampshire's New Forest.
Two ciders will also be on hand to satisfy the palates of discerning drinkers.
"We believe we have something to satisfy the true enthusiast and those who may just want to pop in for a pint," said landlady Sue Matthews.
The festival starts at 11am on Saturday and goes on until Monday.
