Emma Watson was presented with the MTV Trailblazer award at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.

The 'Harry Potter' actress was introduced by 'My Week With Marilyn' co-star Eddie Redmayne and 'Noah' co-star Logan Lerman at the event at Sony Studios in Culver City, Los Angeles before Jonah Hill paid tribute to her via video.

Eddie said: "We all fell in love with her as Hermione Granger and since finishing Harry Potter she has dumbfounded us with her brave and fearless choices.

"I was lucky enough to work with Emma on 'My Week With Marilyn' and she is as elegantly talented as you would expect."

Logan added: "When I first met Emma on the set of 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' we became friends instantly. Emma is one of the most genuine, kind and hardworking actors I know and is fearless in each new role which makes her a trailblazer."

Meanwhile, Jonah joked he and the 22-year-old actress will work together on an adaptation of raunchy book '50 Shades Of Grey'.

He said: "I'd like to announce we will be co-starring in '50 Shades Of Grey'. My safety word is tangerine so if I shout it at any time you have to stop no matter how much you are enjoying it."

An emotional Emma, 22, admitted she was close to tears following the tributes and urged her fans to always follow their dreams.

She said: "Thank you Logan, Eddie and Jonah. That was so nice and nearly made me cry. Watching the video clip of my work showed me most importantly how bad my hair was in the first 'Harry Potter' film but the cool thing is you have supported me in all of my awkwardness and helped me grow into the actress and person I want to be.

"I was the eager beaver in school, the first to put her hand up which is often not cool and I was teased mercilessly but I have learned if you put your heart into something amazing things will happen.

"I promise to keep making the best work I can for all of you."

The MTV Movie Awards will air on April 15 on MTV UK, Sky 126 and Virgin 311.
