A CYCLIST killed after a car collided with his mountain bike at the weekend has been named by the police.
Stephen Little, 34, of Kilburn Street, Shildon, died after the collision on the A6072 close to Denhams scrapyard between Shildon and Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
He was in a collision with a black Skoda Octavia on Saturday morning (April 6). The 24-year-old car driver, from Bishop Auckland, was unhurt.
The car and bike were travelling in the same direction when the Skoda struck the rear of the bike causing Mr Little to be thrown from his machine.
