Nine fire engines called to Hartlepool blaze

NINE crews were called to a major blaze at a North-East industrial estate.
Firefighters found the building belonging to the Hartlepool Erection Group on the Graythorp Industrial Estate, Tees Road, near Hatlepool, well alight shortly after 8.15pm tonight (Sunday, March 10).
The building contained harmless waste and stands about 50 metres by 30 metres.
A hydraulic platform and the commander control unit also attended the scene.
It was brought under control and the number of crews was reduced to six at about 11pm.
There were no people inside the building and it is not known what caused the blaze.
