Parked cars damaged in Consett

SEVERAL parked cars have been vandalised during a series of overnight attacks.
Police say several cars were damaged in the Bridgehill area of Consett in the early hours of Monday, February 18.
Vehicles parked in Pleasant View, Barley Mill Road and a number of other surrounding streets had their number plates stolen, while some also had their windscreen wipers damaged.
A second incident occurred in Consett between 5pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday when nine cars parked in West Parade and Seymour Street were scratched along the length of the vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to ring Durham Constabulary on 101.
