Major delays on East Coast Main line

THE East Coast Main Line is at a standstill after an incident at Northallerton when a train was in collision with a pedestrian.
Rail passengers on the London-Newcastle line are facing delays of at least 90 minutes as Northallerton station has been closed. CrossCountry, East Coast and First Transpennine Express passengers may use each others services.
There are delays of up to 90 minutes between York and Darlington, Middlesbrough and Sunderland.
