POLICE would like to speak to this man in connection with a picture allegedly stolen from an east Durham pub.
A police spokesman said the suspect entered the Moorcock in Burnhope Way, Peterlee, with a woman between 2.10pm and 2.20pm on Wednesday, October 24.
They bought drinks and played pool in the bar area, before the suspect pulled a large picture from the wall and hid it behind the table.
The man then took the picture to the male toilets, opened the window and pushed the picture into bushes outside.
He then left the premises with the female and retrieved the picture.
The suspect has been described as aged between 30 and 40-years-old, with fair/grey short-cropped hair spiked at the front, clean shaven, wearing a dark woollen-type jacket with a light-coloured top underneath.
He was also wearing ripped light blue jeans and a dark scarf around his neck.
Anyone with information should contact Durham police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111, quoting crime reference number EE1202762.
