Man wanted in connection with theft of picture from pub

Wanted Wanted

POLICE would like to speak to this man in connection with a picture allegedly stolen from an east Durham pub.

A police spokesman said the suspect entered the Moorcock in Burnhope Way, Peterlee, with a woman between 2.10pm and 2.20pm on Wednesday, October 24.

They bought drinks and played pool in the bar area, before the suspect pulled a large picture from the wall and hid it behind the table.

He was also wearing ripped light blue jeans and a dark scarf around his neck.

Anyone with information should contact Durham police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111, quoting crime reference number EE1202762.
