A MAN has admitted eight counts of breaching a sexual offences prevention order which forbids him from having contact with anyone aged under 18 – unless in the supervision of a local authority employee.
Brian McClaren was warned by Judge Tony Briggs, sitting at Teesside Crown Court, that all sentencing options were open on him, including custody.
The 46-year-old, of Master Road, Thornaby, Teesside, was given the order in February 2009. The offences are said to have involved three different complainants between January and August last year.
Judge Briggs called for a pre-sentence report on McClaren and gave him unconditional bail. He will be sentenced in three weeks time.
