DUNGEON REOPES: Flood hit attraction York Dungeon is to reopen after a £2m pound revamp. Guy Fawkes gunpowder has been dried out and Dick Turpin’s been given a makeover as part of the major overhaul. The dungeon in Clifford Street , which takes a light hearted look at 2,000 years of York’s history, has been closed since last September when it was badly flooded after the River Ouse burst its banks. The museum will reopen in March.
