Durham Police confirm Mike Barton as new chief constable

MIKE Barton has been confirmed as the new chief constable of Durham Police.

The Police and Crime Panel has this morning endorsed Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg's nomination of Mr Barton, and he will now be appointed to the role.
