CHILDREN from a north Durham special school have been given a motivational talk by a former England captain.
Katy Storie, who played rugby for England and now works for Sky’s Living for Sport initiative, visited Hare Law School, near Stanley in County Durham, today. (Friday, February 8) She ran a rugby skills session with pupils and held a question and answer session.
PE teacher Richard Harrison, who organised the visit, said: “She was fantastic and it has been a great success. She was talking to them about the importance of following their dreams
“The kids loved it and got so much out of what Katy was talking about.”
