A MAN is searching for his biological father who he believes is living in the North-East.

Liam Fussell, 25, from Milford Haven, in Wales, is appealing for help to trace his father, whose name is Stephen, or Ste Taylor, but people also call him 'Red'.

Mr Taylor, who will be in his 50s, is from Newcastle and worked in the Milford Haven and Haverford West area in an oil refinery in the 1980s, where he met Mr Fussell’s mother.

The pair had a whirlwind romance which came to an end when his contract for the oil refinery finished. He moved back to the North-East at Christmas 1986 and never returned.

However, after he returned, Mr Fussell’s mother found out she was pregnant and he has never met his father.

Mr Fussell’s wife, Natalie, said: “We have been married for over a year and have two beautiful children who would love to meet their grandad.”

Mr and Mrs Fussell now live in Redditch, Worcestershire.
