Woman pushed to ground during attempted bag snatch in Stockton

POLICE are hunting a man who attempted to rob a woman when he grabbed her shopping bag as she walked along a Stockton street.
The 52-year-old was attacked as she was on the corner of Gray Street and Grangefield Road on Friday, February 1 at around 9.20am.
A man, who was walking in the opposite direction, approached the woman and attempted to steal her shopping bag. The woman was knocked to the floor before the man made off.
The suspect was wearing a grey hooded top and either grey or blue bottoms.
