New afternoon tea and prize bingo sessions are being held at Age UK County Durham’s Resource Centre in Betjeman Close East
on Wednesdays at 1.30pm. The £1.50 entrance charge includes tea, coffee and cakes with bingo tickets priced individually. Ring 01207-280-119 for more information.
The meeting will be attended by a representative from the neighbourhood policing team and will be specific to the area. Individual priorities will be discussed. All members of the community are welcome.
PLAY BRIDGE: Lanchester Bridge Club meets at Lanchester Community Centre every Tuesday evening from 6.45pm-9.30pm to play Chicago bridge with a cup of tea coffee and a biscuit. There are prizes for the best scores of the night.
LET’S DANCE: Lanchester Scottish Country Dance Group meets in the small hall at Lanchester Community Centre on Fridays from 8pm-10 pm. All are welcome, whether experienced dancer or beginner. Participants do not need a partner, and the first two nights are free.

KIDS SHOW: Milkshake Live featuring children’s favourite from Channel 5 is coming to the Consett Empire Theatre in Consett on Saturday March 16 from 1pm-3.30pm.
The all-singing, all-dancing stage show visits includes Little Princess, Scruff, Noddy, Tessie Bear, Roary, Fifi and Bumble and lots more.
