Serious crash in North Yorkshire closes road

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious collision in North Yorkshire.

The crash took place on the A658 near Kirby Overblow in the Harrogate area at about 4pm.

The road has been closed in both directions. Diversions are in place at the A61 roundabout and the Kirkby Overblow turnoff.

Road ambulance and an air ambulance are at the scene.

Not good that people should continue to die on our roads. Sign of the times that a Polish driver crashes into a German driver in England.

Perhaps its time that all foreign workers should take a driving test in this country sooner rather than later.
