A man charged with making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children was committed to crown court today (Friday, January 18).
Lee Ramsey, of Cambridge Court, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, is accused of making 16 indecent photographs of children, including five moving images, between March 16 2011 and June 12 last year.
He is also charged with possessing 11,524 indecent still and moving images of children on June 12 and distributing 453 still and 87 moving indecent images of children between August 7 2011 and June 13 last year.
At Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today, the case was committed to Durham Crown Court on February 18.
No plea was entered.
Mr Ramsey, 46, received conditional bail.
