THE jury in the case of a man accused of two sex attacks has been sent home after failing to reach verdicts.
The panel of six men and six women will return to Teesside Crown Court tomorrow morning (Friday, January 18) to continue its deliberations.
Leon Love, 26, of Hartington Way, Darlington, denies charges of rape and assault by penetration in 2011 and 2009.
He claims his accusers have made up the allegations along with a woman who claimed she was raped by him in 2008.
Mr Love was cleared of the charge after a trial in 2009, but details of the case have been put before the jury.
The jury spent just over an hour yesterday afternoon deliberating after Judge Howard Crowson summed up the case.
