Transport chiefs lobbied over pay dispute

STRIKE ACTION: Cleaners on the Tyne and Metro plan to a lobby a meeting of transport chiefs, which will coincide with a further day of strike action in a dispute over their pay. The cleaners, who work for contractor Churchill's, will lobby the Tyne and Wear Integrated Transport Authority when it meets at Newcastle Civic Centre on Thursday, January 24.
