POLICE are asking the public for help in tracking down a man who has not been seen since Monday.

William Notley, 55, of Malbys Grove, York, disappeared at mid-morning, when he was dropped off by a colleague at Askham Bar, on the edge of the city.

He is around 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build and brown, receding hair. When last seen he was wearing a black puffa jacket, grey cardigan, pale blue jeans and black boots.

It is not known where William may be and police are concerned for his welfare as his behaviour is out of character.

Contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option one and pass the information to the force control room immediately.
