JUST days after the curtain came down on this year’s production, tickets have gone on sale for an annual pantomime.

The Gala Theatre, in Durham says that almost 27,000 people saw this year’s production of Sleeping Beauty which ran until January 5.

Tickets have already gone on sale for this year’s show Robin Hood And The Babes In The Wood, with discounts for early booking.

Robin Byers, Gala programming and operations manager, said: "We were delighted that Sleeping Beauty built on the success of our previous pantomimes and confirmed Gala's as one of the region's best Christmas shows".

Robin Hood and The Babes in the Wood runs from November 28 to January 4.

Tickets will be £15.50, but anyone who buys a ticket during January will be able to pay just £10.
