A DENTAL practice has received three honours.
Durham City Smiles, on Crossgate, Durham City, has become the first practice in the city to receive the British Dental Association’s (BDA) Good Practice Scheme Award, been re-accredited for the Denplan Excel scheme and received a positive report from the Care Quality Commission.
Practice owner Dr Graeme Dentith(CORR) said: “Receiving the various accreditations and positive reports made for a very happy end to 2012, especially as the necessary assessments and inspections all occurred within three working days.
“Being able to celebrate the triple milestone is a fantastic achievement for the practice and I’d like to thank the whole team at Durham City Smiles for their hard work and support.”
