A UPVC centre door panel has been stolen from a house in Edward Street, Bishop Auckland, on Tuesday, January 8, between 5pm and 6pm.

The panel is half UPVC, half leaded glass with the number of the house in red.

The property was unoccupied at the time.

Witnesses should call PC Sue Bainbridge, at Bishop Auckland police station, on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.

VAN THEFT: Thieves stole a number of items, including a Tom Tom Sat Nav, from a Ford Transit van belonging to Durham Interiors which was parked on Chester Street, in Bishop Auckland. The incident took place between Friday, January 4 and Sunday, January 6. Witnesses should call Bishop Auckland police station on 101.

POLICE MEETINGS: Residents in the Cockton Hill, South Church and Henknowle areas of Bishop Auckland are invited to a Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting at Henknowle Community Centre on Wednesday, January 16, at 6pm. There will also be a PACT meeting at Starbucks, in St Helen Auckland for the surrounding community on the same day at 7pm.
