POLICE are appealing for the public to help them track down a man who has been reported missing from home.

Jeremy Malarkey, 49, of Clifton, York, was reported missing by his son-in-law at around 6pm on Tuesday, January 8. He had last been seen at his home address at about 8.30am that day.

He is about 6ft 2in tall, with a stocky build, green eyes and grey shaved hair. He has the letter J tattooed on his right arm.

He is believed to be wearing dark blue denim jeans with a grey coat which has two pockets on the front and officers are growing concerned for his welfare due to health issues and the length of time since he was last seen.

Inspector Dave Hall, of York police, said: “His family and the police are obviously concerned for his safety and we need to establish where he is as quickly as we can.

“I am also appealing to Mr Malarkey himself to get in touch if he sees this appeal and let us and his family know that he is ok.”
